favorite drugstore products

My product routine ranges from the painfully-expensive dry shampoo and foundation I curse myself for purchasing (but love to death!) to the most basic, inexpensive of staples. Today I thought I'd share some of my drugstore favorites that won't set you back any more than $8!

1. Johnson's Baby Bedtime Bath: I've always been drawn to relaxing scents like lavender and chamomile and this body wash/bubble bath's smell almost instantly puts me at ease. I've been buying it (and the lotion from the same collection) for years!
2. Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash: this brand is one my dermatologist let me know about years ago. They stick to the pure basics, which I love. It's soap and oil-free and cleanses without stripping my skin. I use it daily with my Clarisonic in the shower.
3. Olay Anti-Aging Body Lotion: this lotion is the most expensive product in this mini-lineup but it will set you back far less than many others. I can't attest to it's anti-aging claims, but I can say- it smells fabulous and moisturizes wonderfully without leaving my skin greasy or sticky. The body wash is also great (and super moisturizing).
4. John Freida Clear Shine Glaze: I bought this on a total whim at Walgreens when I spotted it's Allure Best of Beauty seal (a great indication of a product's worth in my opinion) but still didn't have really high expectations before my first use. Pleasant surprise- this stuff left my hair significantly softer and shinier! I've been using it once a week ever since.

Do you have any favorite drugstore products? I'd love to hear about them!

  1. I have been using Purpose for years! It is one of my favorites! The Burt's Bees Radiance Serum is also a great drugstore purchase!
