stephanie johnson giveaway - ended

I can't think of a better way to celebrate the weekend than with a Stephanie Johnson giveaway!

First let me start out with some photos of a few of her latest patterns, they're seriously some of her most gorgeous yet (sequins are involved!).
Amazing, or what? I carried this (the Large Flat Pouch in Nashville Cobalt) for date night this week and was so impressed by everything I could jam neatly place inside!

I've been using this bag for years (you can see my Palm Springs Mint one in the picture above) for everything from cash and change to sunglasses. It's perfect for organizing all kinds of things inside your purse or tote. A friend of mine even used one for holding her Bar exam study cards to review on-the-go.

Next up is the Katie Folding Cosmetic in Serengeti. You might remember me raving about this bag in a previous post and I'm still just as crazy about it. The shape is so functional and I'm continually impressed by what it can hold (I keep one in an older pattern in my purse all the time for make-up and hand lotion).

Most recently, I used my new one to carry the new OPI Bond collection (swatches coming soon!) while traveling. I was thinking I could fit 6-8 bottles and was amazed when I realized I could easily carry all 12 with ease. Seriously, this bag needs to be in everyone's collection.

Now for the best part, here's the bag y'all chose to win via Instagram (it won by just 1 vote!): the Jenny Train Case in Serengeti:
As always with Stephanie Johnson bags, this case is the perfect marriage between style and function. The pattern is gorgeous and durable and it's insane what all you can fit. Here's a peek at the inside:

I love that extra clear case and mirror that comes with it and of course, all the room for full-size bottles (perfect for my addiction to hair styling products). Here's a shot of what I carried in mine this past weekend:

So now you want one, right? Well, here's all you need to do to enter to win:
Follow Stephanie Johnson on Twitter, visit StephanieJohnson.com and comment with your favorite item, follow Stephanie Johnson on Instagram (@SJTraveler), share this giveaway on your Facebook, and/or re-tweet this announcement.

soxxy review + giveaway

Happy Friday! I'm so excited to bring y'all a review and giveaway for a brand I instantly fell in love with recently, Soxxy. Soxxy has a such a fun story, it's founder, Sarah Stabile, was annoyed with socks that slipped so she turned her own pairs inside out and used a hot glue gun to put X and O marks on the inside rim to keep them up. Now Soxxy uses a comfortable silicone composite that gently grips your legs and keeps your socks in their proper place. Isn't that genius? And it doesn't hurt that the patterns are adorable either.

They have ankle, knee, and thigh high socks and they sent over four pairs for me to try out. I absolutely love them! You might have seen the picture I posted to Instagram of me in a pair of wine and metallic silver striped ankle socks (the Jana). I wore them all day with a pair of Frye motorcycle boots and didn't once to have bother pulling them up (all thanks to the little grippy silicone X's and O's).

The thigh highs and knee socks are equally adorable. I put the knee socks to the real test the night before last when I wore them to bed. I woke up the next morning and they were perfectly in place (I can't remember the last time I didn't wake up with one sock on and the other off- apparently I'm a violent sleeper). And the thigh highs are just so fun to wear!

The best part is, along with the four pairs for me (and a bag of pink and red M&M's- just what I needed), Soxxy also sent four pairs for one of y'all! You'll get two pairs of their ankle socks (one in leopard print!), a pair of the knee socks, and a pair of their high highs.

Here's all you need to do to enter to win:
mandatory entry: visit the Soxxy site and comment with your favorite item
extra entries (1 each): follow Soxxy on Twitter, 'like' Soxxy on Facebook, follow this blog via GFC, and/or 'like' Spike the Punch on Facebook

Please comment separately for each entry and leave an email address to contact you with if one is not associated with your Blogger profile. The winner will be selected using random.org and contacted via email. Good luck!

a giveaway: because i love y'all

Good morning lovelies! Happy Saturday! I'm spending the day moving but just wanted to take a little time today and thank everyone for their support for Spike the Punch (and also the small group of super encouraging girls I met through blogging that inspired me to create my little jewelry biz!). To the darling folks I've chatted with on Twitter, Instagram, and Etsy, you've all been so lovely. I can't tell you how much the patience, advice, and kind words I've received have meant. It hasn't been easy working my day-job and running home to play jewelry maker but you've all made it such a pleasure. And since I can't have you all over for cocktails, I thought I'd share the next best thing, a fun little prize for one of you.
These are a few things that I own (and love!) and can't wait to share with the winner: Deborah Lippmann polishes in Today Was a Fairy-tale and I Know What Boys Like and a Rebecca Minkoff metallic pouch with the words "Good things come in small packages" (just a note: I'm not affiliated with either of these brands).

All you need to do to enter is comment on this post telling me one of your favorite things, whether it's a food, a beauty product, a movie, whatever! I look forward to getting to know each of you a little better. Please include your first name and email address or Twitter handle if you don't have contact info linked to your profile and I'll announce the winner next Sunday.
